Drinking Tea is Good for your Heart

When sipping our favorite cup of tea everyday, many of us may remain unclear about how much is too much for us. However, researchers have declared drinking three cups of tea a day could help us keep the type 2 diabetes and heart attacks at bay. An analysis explains regular drinking of tea, with or without milk, can reduce the risk of problems of the heart by cutting levels of blood sugar and bad cholesterol.

The benefits of tea are mostly due to its content, the flavonoid, the antioxidant ingredients that work against cardiovascular disease, experts’ claims. A single cup of tea provides more or less 150-200mg of flavonoids and in the food we eat, it is the best source of antioxidants. Drinking two or more cups of black tea everyday may protect against type II diabetes while three or more cups of black tea everyday guards against heart disease.

In reality, there is far more to everybody’s favorite drink than people understand. Black tea with its antioxidant flavonoids, offers a great cover with a lot of health benefits mostly for the heart.
What’s more, studies carried out recently show that the flavonoids work whether or not we choose to add milk to our cup of tea. A study also showed drinking three cups of tea daily created a significant improvement in different cardiovascular risk aspects.

While drinking of two or three cups of tea every day is said to produce  improvement in a variety of cardiovascular risk factors, flavonoids, the best source of antioxidants found in tea is also said to work well whether we add milk or not. Moreover, it is thought to limit furring up of the arteries, promote blood vessel function, reduce excess blood clotting and control inflammation. So two or three cup of tea daily is not too much!
